- U.S. DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS DESIRES TO LEASE SPACE The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease sufficient rentable square footage to yield 6,000 to 9,975 net usable square feet (NUSF)* in Buffalo, New York for use as a warehouse. The space must be located on the ground floor and can be provided by modification of existing space. On-site parking for 10 vehicles is required. The building must have a minimum of 3 each functioning dock levelers and 3 loading garage doors. A lease for 2 months firm with two one-month option periods will be considered. Desired occupancy date is April 1, 2013. Space within or fronting on the following boundaries will be considered: North: Hertel Avenue/Main Street South: South Park Avenue East: Bailey Avenue West: Niagara Street Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. The proposed leased space shall be fully serviced. Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain. A market survey of properties offered for lease will be conducted by VA.
