Description
Proposed Solicitation Number: N40084-13-T-5408. RFP issue date: On or about 22 Feb 2013. Planned proposal due date: 25 Mar 2013. FSC Code: 2310. NAICS Code: 423110. Purchase of not-to-exceed 26 each right-hand drive vehicles consisting of 17 vehicle types/Exhibit Line Items (ELINs) for general administrative use by the U.S. Government in transporting personnel and/or cargo. This acquisition will be accomplished using FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items as appropriate. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be eligible for award. For details please visit: https://www.SAM.gov. Required vehicle types include 2 each Law Enforcement Sedan; 2 each 28 passenger micro bus; 1 each 28 passenger micro bus with rear cargo space; 1 each 45 passenger bus; 2 each 1-Ton Multistop Truck; 1 each 15 passenger high roof wagon van; 1 each 2-Ton Stake Truck; 1 each 2-Ton Stake Truck with Crane; 1 each 2-Ton Stake Truck with Dual Air Conditioning; 1 each 7-1/2 Ton Truck Tractor; 1 each 5-Ton Dump Truck; 1 each 1/2-Ton Pickup Truck; 2 each 8 Passenger Van; 5 each Compact Wagon; 2 each Compact Maintenance Van; 1 each 3-Ton Cargo Truck; and 1 each Cleaner Septic Tank. Offerors are not required to submit a proposal for every ELIN/vehicle type and Offerors may submit more than one proposal for an individual ELIN. The Government reserves the right to award one or more ELINs/vehicle types to one or more Offerors in a multiple award manner. Requirements include warranty service in Japan. Delivery requirement: 60/90/120/150 calendar days after award depending on vehicle type. FOB destination: Delivery to U.S. Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan. All offers shall be in the English language or with the English translation and priced in Japanese yen.
