- oThe Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center located at Alvin C. York VA Medical Center, 3400 Lebanon Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37129 has a requirement to complete construction project 626A4-11-201, 'Boiler Plant Upgrade'. The contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for Murfreesboro Boiler Plant Upgrade as required by drawings and specifications. The Construction cost range is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED BUSNIESS (SDVOSB) CONTRACTORS. SDBOSB contractors must be verified and viewable in VETBIZ (www.vip.vetbiz.gov) prior to submission of proposal and prior to award of contract. Construction by special trade contractors, at least 25% of the cost of the contract performance incurred for personnel will be spent on the concern's employees or the employees of other eligible service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns. Contractors must register at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ and https://vets100.dol.gov to be eligible for award. All registrations must be up-to-date and correct. The North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 238220 with the small business size standard of $14.0 million. On-Line Representations and Certifications (ORCA) must reflect a small business size certification for the NAICS code noted herein. Solicitation is to be posted to FEDBIZOPPS website (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or around February 20, 2013 with offers due on or around March 20, 2013. Paper solicitation will not be issued. Potential Offerors must obtain solicitation, specifications, drawings, and amendments (if issued) form this website. Offerors are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to the solicitation prior to the time for closing or with their proposal if applicable.
