Description

In accordance with Federal Aviation Administration Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.1.2.1 - this announcement provides interested sources the results of FAA-Vendor meetings for the CSS Infrastructure Solution. It includes vendor questions with Government responses and also includes statements from the FAA. The meetings were held with a portion of the vendors that responded to a previously issued Request for Information (RFI). Based on the results of the market survey the FAA anticipates that the procurement will be a full and open competition. The FAA may decide to set aside part of the procurement for small business; service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA ™s 8(a) Program. Please do not respond to this announcement. The FAA is anticipating a draft SIR release in April 2013, SIR release in Jul/Aug 2013 and Contract Award in the Spring of 2014. This schedule is dependent on the receipt of FAA Management approval. This announcement is not intended to guarantee procurement of the services, and must not be construed as a commitment by the Government to enter into a contract. The Government is not liable for costs associated with this announcement and will not reimburse any firm for cost incurred. No solicitation exists at this time. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on the FAA ™s Contract Opportunities web page. It is the offeror ™s responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation.
