Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Acquisition Service- Frederick, in Frederick, MD, in accordance with PL 109-461 and VAAR 819.7007, intends to negotiate sole source procurement with Domestic &International Security Group, LLC, located at 905 West 7TH Street, #301, Frederick, Maryland 21701, in support of Department of Veterans Affairs Strategic Acquisition Center (SAC) in Fredericksburg, VA. The requirement consists of one armed control desk guard, fixed assigned to the Main lobby. The guard will provide protection for the tenant agency employees, the general public visiting the facility on VA business, as well as personal and U.S. Government property within the confines of post assignment responsibilities Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM excluding weekends and Federal holidays. Additional hours may be required due to special events (i.e. open houses, recruitment fairs, etc.). The period of performance is from February 15, 2013 through February 14, 2018. The Department of Veterans Affairs will award a firm fixed price contract with a one year base period plus four one (1) year options. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for competitive quotations. No solicitation package is available.
