- Description
- Solicitation The Energy and Infrastructure Division, Office of Economic Growth, E&E Bureau, provides leadership management support of programs/projects in areas of energy, telecommunications, transpiration, and other urban infrastructure. Its staff, in connection with field Mission personnel, identifies critical issues and problems in these areas in each E&E country. The staff also develops, implements, manages and evaluates ongoing and planned program/projects throughout Europe and Eurasia. The Senior Clean Energy Advisor will be a senior expert responsible for providing guidance in public and private sector approaches to energy policy, planning and utility management. This position works under the general supervision of the Division Chief for Energy and Infrastructure, Office of Economic Growth in the Bureau for Europe and Eurasia or his/her designee, who provides guidance primarily in the form of broad objectives and directives. S/he is expected to carry out work assignments using independent professional judgment to ensure that effective technical leadership is provided by the division. When reviewed, completed work is evaluated for adherence to policy and to ensure that broad objectives are met.
