Description

The National Acquisition Center intends to enter into a sole-source contract with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) for the procurement of Lamictal, a branded product used for the treatment of both adjunctive and monotherapy of partial seizures, primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures and partial-onset seizures. Lamictal cannot be therapeutically substituted with other antiepileptic products. This action is to contract for the identified drug which is currently sourced from a non-designated Trades Agreement Act (TAA) country. The product is available from only one source, GSK. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals as Lamictal is protected by patent.
