- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT AND MARKET SURVEY FROM WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMAITON IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS TO OBTAIN QUALIFICATION STATEMENTS FROM INTERESTED 8(A) JOINT VENTURES (MENTOR PROTÉGÉ FIRMS), HUBZONES, SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED BUSINESSES, AND OTHER SMALL BUSINESSES FOR PERFORMING THE WORK DESCRIBED IN THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC), is seeking qualified contractors with current, relevant experience and the capacity/capability to provide engineering, inspection, and construction services for Petroleum, Oil and Lubricant (POL) fuel systems at various locations worldwide, in support of the Navy ™s POL Facilities Engineering Program. The work will primarily be design, engineering, inspection, testing, cathodic protection and construction of POL fuel systems and its various components. These services will include all aspects of project execution from inception through final closeout. Firms shall have the necessary experience to be able to provide the services as mentioned above. Should this requirement proceed as an acquisition, the Government intends to solicit under NAICS Code 237120 with a $33.5 million size standard. A multiple award, indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery (IDIQ MAC) type contract is anticipated, with task orders awarded using Firm Fixed Price (FFP) pricing schemes. The length of this contract will be a base year plus two option years for a total of 3 years. Interested small businesses in the categories described in this announcement are requested to submit a brief, written capabilities statement outlining relevant experience and capabilities. The capability statement shall not exceed five pages and consist of recent, relevant past performance information in providing the type of services described above as a prime or subcontractor. Please include current points of contact for verification purposes, contract number, dollar value, and period of performance, contracting agency, and a brief description of the contract scope of work. Also, include whether you are a current GSA schedule contract holder and terms.
