- Solicitation No. FA4855-13-R-0005, Civil Works IDIQ Synopsis: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY for the Civil Works IDIQ at Cannon AFB, New Mexico. THIS IS NOT A PRESOLICITATION OR SOLICITATION - OFFERS OR PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS NOTICE. Questions regarding this project will NOT be answered. INTERESTED PARTIES : Revisions have been made to this sources sought. In order for your company's set-aside to be considered under this acquisition, you must complete the questionnaire provided and provide a detailed capabilities statement. ADDITION : The Government will be considering multiple awards. Interested parties should confirm interest, as required above. The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to research qualified firms with one of the following primary NAICS Codes: 237110, 237120, 237130, 237310, 237990 with a size standard of $33.5M or 238990 with a size standard of $14.0M, for a potential acquisition. Interested firms should submit, to the point of contact below, including (but not limited to) company name; point of contact with address, phone and fax numbers, and email address; SBA Set-Aside Categories (if applicable); a detailed capabilities statement with relevant work experience similar to the work listed below and complete the questionnaire provided. Information should be submitted to BOTH points of contact listed below no later than 1630 hours (4:30 pm), Mountain Daylight Time, Friday, 15 February 2013. The estimated contract value of this Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery Contract is approximately $50 million, spread out over the estimated performance period of one (1) base year and four (4) one-year option periods. The work consists of the contractor providing all parts, labor, tools, transportation, supplies, supervision, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to accomplish the following work: ADDITION : Offerors will be required to demonstrate experience with all types of work/craft listed below in order to be considered for award. Typical Airfield Maintenance Civil Projects May Include : rubber removal, pavement markings, spall repair, full and partial depth repair of asphalt and PCC airfield pavements, crack routing and sealing, replacing joint sealing, and runway grooving. Pavement of Roadways and Parking Lots : Major work involves but is not limited to the removal of the existing pavement through milling and/or reconstruction, repaving the same, paving new areas, installing traffic striping, drainage structures, curb, sidewalks, driveways, full depth reconstruction and patching. The work will also include any combination of the items above to complete construction, repair, maintenance and rehabilitation of roadways and parking lots. The completed project shall provide fully functional roadway and parking lots. Additional Road Work Includes : new base course, repairing existing base by grading and re-compacting, crack routing and sealing, the use of WMA (warm mix asphalt) rather than standard HMA (hot mix asphalt). Utility Work : Work involves but is not limited to the removal of existing, repair or installation of new utility infrastructure to include water distribution, hydrants, wastewater distribution and any appurtenances needed for such systems, and drainage structures to include drainage inlets, pipes, swales, gutters, curbs, and culverts. Traffic Striping : Work involves but is not limited to the removal of existing traffic striping, thermoplastic symbols and markings, repainting and reapplying similar striping and markings. Utilities : Work involves but is not limited to removal, repair, replacement of existing or installation of new sanitary sewer, water, electrical, and gas distribution systems. Work to include all associated equipment to support utility infrastructure. Miscellaneous and Minor Work : Work involves but is not limited to the patching of existing pavements, installation of driveways, curbs, sidewalks, seal coats for asphalt surfaces and xeriscaping affected areas. While some jobs will be complex there will also be minor jobs that deal with but are not limited to portions of roadways, drainage, sidewalks being repaired or replaced, replacement of traffic striping, or utility repair outside the scope of 27 SOCES maintenance shops. Site Work with Xeriscape Includes : hydroseeding, new trees, new irrigation, landscaped rocks (all separate unit price items) The contractor shall comply with commercial and industry standards and all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and procedures.
