Description
Accredited HVAC Technician Program for FCI Fairton THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for a HVAC Technician Program for inmates at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) located in Fairton, NJ. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611519 (Size Standard: $7.0 million). The Contractor shall provide an accredited vocational educational certificate program to incarcerated offenders at the FCI. The Contractor will provide the most up-to-date technology allowable in the correctional environment for the HVAC field to enhance inmates' post-release employment opportunities. The Contractor will instruct students in the skills and information necessary to be prepared to pass the EPA 608 and North American Technician Excellence (NATE) certification tests. The program will provide transferable college credits in addition to the program certification and the results to the ASE exams. The Contractor shall be accredited by a state or other recognized accreditation associate or agency. The government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The contract period will consist of a 12-month period. A government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed and a contract may or may not result. Market Research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, the government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the government. The Market Survey Questionnaire will be available on or about February 7, 2013, and will be distributed solely through General Service Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. This site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organization can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The response date for the market survey is February 14, 2013. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone request or written requests for the Market Survey will be accepted. All responses to the Market Survey Questionnaire may be submitted in hard copy to the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, U.S. Armed Forces Reserve Complex, 346 Marine Forces Drive, Grand Prairie, TX 75051, Attn: E.
