AMENDMENT A001 RE: Site Visit and Solicitation Due Date This amendment is created to add the site visit schedule date and time and extend the solicitation due date. The Site Visit has been schedule for the 20th of February 2013 at 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time, Please contact Charles Folsom @ (404) 389-8564, or by email charles.folsom@faa.gov and provide a by name roster of the attendees. The Solicitation due date has been change from the 22th of February 2013, to the 28th of February 2013 *************************************************************** The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Eastern Service Area, Southern Region, AAQ-510 ATL, College Parka, GA has a requirement for the Covington Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) Security Downgrade This procurement is offered to all qualified, responsive concerns and offers will be considered under full and open competition among the qualified responsive offerors. Estimated performance time: 90 calendar days from the issue of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) In accordance with AMS Policy, Procurement Guidance, T3.8-7, Construction Contracting, Section 7, Planning and Pre-Solicitation, paragraph I, Disclosure of the Size of Construction Projects, the estimated price for this requirement is between $100,000.00 and $175,000.00. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238210 NAICS Description Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors (Security Systems and Security Downgrade); $14M NAICS Size Standard (by dollars or by employees) In accordance with AMS Clause 3.2.2.3-63 Site Visit (Construction) (July 2004), a site visit can be schedule by contacting: Charles Folsom @ 404-389-8564 or by email @ charles.folsom@faa.gov To be considered for award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the System for Award management (SAM) database (website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/). When responding to this Screening Information Request/Request For Offer (SIR/RFO), each offeror is required to submit a technical proposal and a cost breakdown proposal in addition to all the required documents outline in accordance with the Screening Information Request (SIR) provision in Section L entitled, "Required Documents." Offerors submitting proposals by hand-delivery will need to consider allowing sufficient time to process through the security procedures in place at the FAA Southern Region Office. Overnight delivery of responses to this SIR/RFO may also be impacted if not sent in sufficient time to allow for the special mail-handling procedures in place at the Southern Region Office. In accordance with SIR Section L provision 3.2.2.3-14 entitled, "Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals," any proposals received after the due time and date of 5:00 p.m. EST, February 22, 2013, will not be considered. In addition, if all requested information is not furnished in the offeror's proposal, the offeror's proposal may be determined to be non-responsive and ineligible for consideration for contract award. This SIR/RFO is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government will not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested proposal documentation.
