- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command, Air Combat Electronics Program Office (PMA 209) intends to issue a Basic Ordering Agreement for the duration of five years to Honeywell, International, Inc. 13350 US Highway 19 North, Clearwater, FL, to provide Embedded Global Positioning System/Inertial Navigation Systems (EGI) services and supplies to include platform integration support, modification, missionization, test and sustainment functions related to existing H-764 Series EGI platforms and procurement of H-764 Series EGI test assets related to new start platforms. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1 ('Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements'). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interesting parties may submit information, within 15 days after this synopsis is published, which will be considered by this agency. The Government reserves the right to confirm the ability of any respondent to meet the requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
