- *******ATTENTION*******ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO: Ray Byrd, Contract Specialist, email: ray.byrd@peoavn.army.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted.*************** This requirement is for a five year Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for a minimum quantity of 51 each, and a maximum quantity of 2000 each Aviation Light Utility Mobile Maintenance Cart (ALUMMC) which will be used to support maintenance operations on the flightline for current and future force aircraft and mission support equipment. This procurement will include options for Production Quantity, Field Support Packages, Authorized Stockage Lists, Orientation Training, New Equipment Training (CONUS and OCONUS), Commercial Warranty, Materials and Technical Manuals. The required delivery for the ALUMMC First Article is 4 each, 30 Days After Contract Award (DACA), delivery to Aviation Applied Technology Directorate, DODAAC: W26RX3 Bldg 3519, Receiving Warehouse, Felker Army Airfield, Fort Eustis, VA 23604 ATTN: Paul Pantelis; (757) 878-4304. After acceptance of the First Article, the remaining 47 units and future ALUMMC required delivery is 60 days at a rate of 34 each per month. Inspection and Acceptance for First Article will be at Destination. FOB Point is Destination. Inspection and Acceptance for the remaining 47 units and future ALUMMC will be at Origin. FOB Point is Destination. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, NAICS Code 333924 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. Firms that recognize and can produce the required items described above are encouraged to identify themselves. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about February 22, 2013, with a proposal due date of March 25, 2013. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation: however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. This acquisition is being issued as a Small Business Set-Aside. By U.S. Law, participation in Small Business Set Asides are restricted to U.S. Small Businesses, therefore foreign requests for this solicitation will not be honored.
