Sources Sought for Implementation of CCTV System Dorn VAMC, Columbia, SC This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey). This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The purpose of Sources Sought Notice is to identify qualified and eligible businesses that are interested in and capable of performing the work described in the Statement of Objectives (S.O.O.) The Department of Veteran Affairs, William Jennings Bryan Dorn Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Columbia, SC is seeking information to identify prospective sources capable of providing Evaluation and Implementation of CCTV security system. The suggested North American Industry Classification code (NAICS) 561621. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS code is $12.5M. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this requirement, the Government will use responses to this sources sought synopsis. The type of solicitation issued and the manner of advertisement will depend on the responses to this sources sought synopsis. Performance Objectives Interested offerors will participate in a site-visit of the facility, during this site visit you will be escorted and will be shown all the areas of the CCTV system. You will be able to see how the system is currently functioning to aid in determining the best approach for repairs. The contractor will develop a plan and oversee installation of a matrix or equivalent CCTV security system. The ultimate goal of this requirement is to implement a fully functional CCTV system; this project may be completed in phases. The current CCTV system is not functioning in certain areas, a determination needs to be made as to the flaws and the repairs needed to restore to it full functionality. Contractor will be required to provide the labor, supplies and equipment for the requirement. The plan will identify methods to accomplish the following requirements. oEvaluate current system oSubmit a proposed Performance Based Work Statement (PBWS) to implement a fully functional CCTV system for the entire facility with the first phase to determine the extent of repairs needed for the existing cameras. oOutline the type and number of cameras needed for the coverage areas identified by the government. oOutline all hardware and software needed for functionality of the entire system. oOutline the ability to add hardware and software as needed. Submission Requirements for responses to this sources sought synopsis (1)Your intent to submit a quote for this project when it is formally advertised. (2)Name of firm with address, phone and point of contact. (3)Statement of Capability (SOC) stating your skills, experience, knowledge, and equipment required to perform the specified type of work. This should include documentation of past relevant experience and technical competence with a similar requirement. (4)A copy of Central Contract Registration (CCR). Must reflect Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) and Small Business Administration Certification of Small Business Type. (5)A statement addressing your status as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. If inadequate responses are received, this solicitation may be issued for full and open competition.
