Description

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to update and expand the Nurse Call System at the VA Connecticut Health Care system in West Haven, CT. The existing communications system is outdated and non-supported at the West Haven VA Medical Center, CT, Project Number 689-09-110. Work shall include architectural, mechanical and electrical and all such systems and components as may be necessary to completely update the system. The construction cost range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. The applicable NAICS code is 561621 and the size standard is $12.5 million. Award will be based on the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors will include price related factors as well as technical factor of management approach and past performance. The solicitation package will be available issued on 3/01/2013. The date for receipt of offers is scheduled for 04/02/2013 at Noon. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings, may be accessed for download on the date of issue at the following website: http://www.fbo.gov. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely to this web site. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued. This solicitation is set aside for verified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. All SDVOSBs shall be verified in Vet Biz at time of proposal submission. All offerors must ensure registration in SAM information is current and accurate.
