- Sample Oil Pollution Insurance SOW The Maritime Administration (MARAD) is conducting a Market Survey to identify potential sources possessing the expertise, capabilities and experience necessary to provide Oil Pollution Insurance and Spill Management support for MARAD-owned vessels of the Ready Reserve Force (RRF) (~46) and Schoolships (~7) operated by the State Maritime Academies. A sample Statement of Work is attached. Interested parties shall identify their interest by submitting a capability statement and business size status (Large Business, Small Business, Small-Disadvantaged Business, Woman Owned Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, etc.). All submissions shall be submitted to Erica.williams@dot.gov by 5:00 p.m. local time on February 22, 2013. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 524210 with a small business size standard of $7M. This notice IS NOT a Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bid. The Request for Proposal and any related documents for this procurement will be made available at www.fbo.gov at a later date. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring FBO for release of all pertinent procurement documents or updates to this program.
