Description

The Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville, Florida intends to issue a sole source Request for Proposal (RFP) to Raytheon Systems, 2501 W. University Drive, McKinney, TX 75071-2813 The proposed acquisition is for the provision and installation of test equipment, associated testing, and training to standup an organic depot maintenance facility to support the AN/APY-10 Radar at Fleet Readiness Center South East, Jacksonville, FL. Developed and produced for use in military systems, the AN/APY-10 RADAR is currently used in the U.S. Navy �s (USN) P-8 Poseidon multi-mission patrol aircraft. This acquisition will include Special Test Equipment (STE), provisioning data, Unit Under Test (UUT) �gold boxes � and data for Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) for the AN/APY-10 RADAR. A draft copy of the Statement of Objectives detailing the objectives of the requirement is attached. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may email their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, or submit proposals, to the contract specialist. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information provided.
