Description

The Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center (LAJVAMC) is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice in order to identify businesses that have the resources, capabilities, and expertise to provide valet parking services for Veterans at the LAJVAMC in Clarksburg, WV. The results of this market research will assist in the development of (1) the requirement, and (2) the acquisition strategy (e.g., small business set-aside, full and open competition, etc.). LAJVAMC is seeking responses to the following types of information from businesses who consider themselves to be skilled in valet parking operations: 1. Company name, business type, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), person of contact (including telephone number & email address). 2. Previous experience in providing valet parking services for government or non-government healthcare entities (i.e., VA Medical Centers, hospitals). 3. Common approach(es) to valet parking operations. 4. Common obstacles and risks associated with providing valet parking services. 5. Common performance standards and assessment methods. 6. Other information relevant to valet parking operations that's not addressed in 1- 5 that would be beneficial to LAJVAMC's endeavor in developing its requirement.
