- The 647 th Contracting Squadron is issuing this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement for a Mobile Flight Application that provides world-wide moving-map presentation with NOTAM and weather download/overlay capability in addition to hosting and displaying all essential flight instrument publication (FLIP) data to include: Hi/Lo IFR Charts, VFR Sectionals, Instrument Approach Procedures, Standard Arrival/Departure Information/Procedures, all associated supplemental documentation, etc. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 511210. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. This sources sought is issued for informational and planning purposes only. The information will be used to conduct market research to identify qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources and commercial practices in support of the government's requirements. Contact with Government personnel, other than those specified in the sources sought, by potential offerors or their employees regarding this requirement is not permitted. This is not a request for proposal. It is not to be construed as a formal solicitation or an obligation on the part of the government to acquire any products or services. The information requested by this RFI will be used within the air force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. Any information provided to the government is strictly voluntary and will be provided at no cost to the government. The Government reserves the right to decide whether or not a small business set aside is appropriate based on responses to this notice.
