Description
DTFAAC-13-R-01904 Market Survey Capability Assessment for preventive maintenance (PM) repair, modification, and relocation for Vertical Storage Units (VSUs) located in government owned and leased Logistics Center (LC) facilities at FAA MMAC in Oklahoma City, OK., in accordance with draft Statement of Work. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has a requirement for the preventive maintenance, repair, modification, and relocation services for Vertical Storage Units (VSUs) located in Government owned and leased Logistics Center (LC) facilities in accordance with the attached draft Statement of Work. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, capable of providing preventive maintenance (PM) repair, modification, and relocation for Vertical Storage Units (VSUs) in accordance with the attached drawings and draft Statement of Work (SOW). This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for this effort is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance, with a Small Business Size Standard of $7.0/M. In order to make this determination the FAA requires the following information from interested vendors: PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A PAGE LIMITATION OF FIVE (5) PAGES MAXIMUM PER RESPONSE TO THIS MARKET SURVEY. 1. Capability Statement - This document should identify: a) Type of services provided by your firm, b) Size and type of services provided by previous contracts (elaborate and provide detailed information and past performance), c) Number of years in business d) The vendor should have the same/similar experience to that of work found in attached draft Statement of Work. 2. Confirmation that your company can provide services in Oklahoma City. 3. Expected programmatic approach (in-house, teaming, subcontracting, etc.) - Respondents must provide their strategy for accomplishing this work, including the percentage of work that will be done by eligible small, service-disabled veteran-owned and 8(a) certified businesses. 4. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. Offerors must complete and return the attached Business Declaration Form. The form is provided as a separate document under this announcement. The FAA reserves the right to review and verify each offeror's program eligibility. Information on pricing is NOT required. However, if vendors submit General information on prices/costs or a commercial/catalog price list, the FAA may use the information for informational purposes only and is NOT binding in any way.
