The Government intends to procure on an unrestricted basis for delivery of estimated quantities of Liquid Oxygen (LOX), (NSN 6830-01-527-7267) Type II, Grade B, CGA G-4.3-2007, Liquid Nitrogen NSN: 6830-01-526-5162, IAW Classification SG-O of AWS Specification ANSI/AWS A5.32:2011 and Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) (NSN 6830-00-285-4769), Type II, Grade B, CID A-A-59503C, dated March 3, 2011 including ancillary services such as Detention, Hot Fill and Expedited Delivery to various locations shown below: NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD, VA LIQUID OXYGEN ESTIMATED QUANTITY (EQ), NSN 6830-01-527-7267 IAW Classification SG-O of AWS Specification ANSI/AWS A5.32M/A5.32:2011 (CGA G-4.3); 1,285 TNS. Destination with a 5 year ordering period of: 1 October 2013 through 30 September 2018. The Government intends to award up to eight (8) Firm Fixed-Price Requirements type using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Acquisition. Award will be made to the offeror determined to be the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered, using the Best Value Source Selection Process. Specifically, the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable Source Selection process will be utilized in accordance with FAR 15,101-2. Subject solicitation will be issued on or about 25 Feb 2013 and posted to the FedBizOpps web page at (htt://www.fedbizopps.gov/). All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency.
