- 2/11/2013 - The projected RFP release date has been changed to April 2013. The Contract Negotiator is changed to Shannon Britt and the Contracting Officer is Erica Smoak. 12/20/2012 - The projected RFP release date has been changed to Feb 2013. 10/24/2012 - A DRAFT PWS for Solicitation N65236-12-R-0033 is posted. Also, the projected RFP date has changed to 1/3/2013. ***This notice is to advise industry that solicitation N65236-12-R-0033 consolidates the work contemplated by recently cancelled solicitations N65236- 09-R-0067 and N65236-09-R-0068*** The applicable NAICS Code is 541330 with a size standard of $35.5 million. The Government estimate for this effort is $49,900,000.00. A competitive, Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Multiple Award Contract with a one-year base period and four (4) one-year option periods is anticipated. This is NOT a solicitation announcement. A draft PWS will be posted in the near future. The projected date for Request for Proposal (RFP) is NLT 13 November 2012. The RFP and associated documents will be available on the SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic e-Commerce business opportunities page. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------- Ashore Systems Engineering includes Situational Awareness & Operational Environment (SA&OE) Systems and Security Systems Solutions (SSS), and requires engineering development, design, procurement, fabrication, configuration, integration, installation, logistics, maintenance, and life cycle support services for Security Systems Solutions and Situational Awareness & Operational Environment Systems. These projects encompass a variety of different types of facilities and users to include Navy, Marine Corps, other DoD, and other Federal customers (CONUS and OCONUS). These systems will support the operational requirements of high value DoD and other Government agencies where security is of high or vital interest. The primary areas of information sharing, crisis management, biometrics, energy management, web enabled application development, wireless security technologies, networking and communications are included. The requirements for the different customers will vary in scope, magnitude and complexity and will range from minor additions to an existing security system, to large scale integrated base-wide or facility-wide systems. Tasks may include any services relating to any phase of development, design, integration, installation, engineering, and programmatic and technical support for Security Systems Solutions and Situational Awareness & Operational Environment Systems solutions and projects, and includes integration of the information obtained from various sensors, imagers, CCTV systems, security systems and other detection systems. Examples of technical areas, systems, and component subsystems which may be required, in an integrated manner, include, but are not limited to: current and past programs for Infrastructure Protection, Public Safety (such as Emergency Management & Law Enforcement) Technology Support and Information Assurance, Emergency Response/Crisis Management Systems; Early Warning Systems, Ground Mapping Radars; Head End/Command and Control Systems; Long Haul Communications Systems; Smart Gate Systems; Electronic Security Systems (ESS), equipment unique to Armories, Ammunition and Explosives (AA&E) facilities, Perimeter Security Systems, Intrusion Detection System (IDS); Access Control System (ACS); surveillance systems comprised of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Thermal Imagers, and/or Acoustic Sensors; Relocatable Sensor Systems (RSS); security focused Command and Control equipment; smart card technology and biometrics; Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Enhanced Conventional Weapons (CBRNE); Waterside Security Systems; personnel alerting Mass Notification Systems (MNS) and Wide Area Alert systems, and secure and non- secure Personnel Communications Systems.
