Description

Approved Justification and Approval for exception to fair opportunity. The United States General Services Administration, Public Building Service, Northwest Arctic Region, Design and Construction Division awarded task order modification PS04 under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulations Subsection 16.505 (b)(2)(i)(C), exception to Fair Market Opportunity Under Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contracts to Randolph Construction Services, Inc. located at 1992 Saint Street, Suite B, Richland, WA 99354. The modification amount was $325,725.00. The modification was necessary to address differing site conditions found during construction. Thirteen additional urgent repairs were identified as shown in the approved Justification and Approval. It was determined that competing the new work as it would result in unacceptable delays and would lead to a building shutdown, as a result of anticipated snow events. In the interest of economy and efficiency, the work is also a logical follow-on addition to the originally competed work that was award under above mentioned task order.
