Description
The solicitation is issued to establish an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for multiple competitive NSNs for Federal Supply Class (FSC) 6150 and 5995. This is a strategic project for Cables and Electrical. This solicitation contains an initial population of 54 NSNs to be priced with a possible add-on population of approximately 200 NSNs. This procurement is for a 100% HUBZone small business set-aside. This solicitation may result in the award of 2 to 4 contracts. This solicitation is for an Indefinite Quantity Contracts (IQC) that will have a two-year base period and three one-year option periods (to be re-competed among awardees), for a total of five years. A Pre-Proposal telephone conference will be held prior to the closing of this solicitation and all the information for this conference will be supplied to interested parties at a later date. FOB is destination with the Inspection/Acceptance at destination, which will be cited in the solicitation. 95% of the NSNs cited on the solicitation must be priced for an offer to be considered for evaluation. Pricing will be evaluated on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) of each NSN. The final contract award decisions may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation estimated closing date is April 26, 2013. Electronic (DIBBS) proposals/quotes are unacceptable. Surge and Sustainment may be required for some of the NSNs. Excel spreadsheets for pricing, delivery and surge information (if applicable) for all the NSNs will be provided with the solicitation. Proposals are to be submitted to the Bid Custodian via email at DSCR.Biddesk@dla.mil. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the BSM Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) Homepage ( https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil ). Select "Request for Proposal (RFP)" under the Solicitations heading. Then choose the RFP you wish to download. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requestors.
