Description
** GOVERNMENT ACCOMPANIED SITE VISIT** *For the purpose of accommodating offerors' requests for Government-accompanied site visits, an organized site visit will be held at the Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC), 3909 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg, MS 39180, on 14 Feb 2013 beginning at 1:00PM at Building 1000. Offerors may not visit the Government site at their own convenience for site inspection. Also, during all site visits, offerors shall not solicit advice or assistance from any Government or Contractor employee pertaining to quote preparation. Questions pertaining to the requirement shall be submitted in writing to Olivia White via email at Olivia.White@usace.army.mil or in person once the site visit is complete. No questions will be answered during the site visit. All vendors who want to attend the site visit are REQUIRED to submit the following information to Olivia White via email at Olivia.White@usace.army.mil NO LATER THAN 12:00pm Wednesday, 13 February 2013 in order to be allowed on base and accompanied through the site: 1. Company Name and Address 2. First and last name of all employees attending site visit 3. Total number of employees attending site visit** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Proposals are being requested via this synopsis and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requisition Number W81EWF30172409 is being issued as a request for proposals (RFP) with intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60. This requirement is 100% set-aside to small business under NAICS 561710 with a size standard of $7 Million. The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Vicksburg, MS has a requirement for the following: ERDC needs pest and rodent control services for a period of 6 months with a period of performance that will begin 1 March 2013. ***PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK AND COMPLETE ATTACHED SCHEDULE TO SUBMIT WITH PROPOSAL.*** These documents can be found under quote mark Additional documentation quote mark In accordance with FAR clause 52.212-2 Award shall be made to the responsible offeror whose quote is determined to be Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable. Offerors SHALL submit attached schedule and technical data to include but not limited to technical brochures, literature, etc. in order to determine whether technically acceptable. If there are no technical supporting documents (technical descriptions of products being used, brochures, literature), the offeror will be determined technically unacceptable. Proposals are due 20 February 2013 by 12:00 PM CST at Engineer Research and Development Center, Contracting Office, Attention: Olivia White, 3909 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg, MS 39180.
