CONTACT INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND WITHIN THE BODY OF THS ANNOUNCEMENT ************ NASA/MSFC has a requirement for the hardware maintenance of the systems used in the Integrated Avionics Test Facilities under the Vehicle Integration project within the Space Launch Systems program. MSFC has determined that Concurrent Computer Corporation (CCC) is the only vendor who can provide this service.CCC currently provides the systems, the certification and the development lines built within these facilities which are critical to the Space Launch Systems avionics system. Not continuing this service through CCC would have a serious negative impact on the reliability and compatibility of these systems thus not meeting the Government needs. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to Betsy Anderson/ARCS at elizabeth.s.anderson@nasa.gov or fax to 256-655-6560 no later than 4:30 p.m. local time on 02/18/2013. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The official point of contact is Artra C.
