- DLA Aviation Richmond intends to issue a solicitation to procure a CNC Vertical Machining Center, plus related tooling, accessories, and training. The base quantity is 1. The solicitation will include a 100% quantity option. Delivery/performance will be at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, GA. The solicitation will be unrestricted. A complete technical data package will be available when the solicitation opens. The estimated release date for the solicitation is on or about 2/21/13. The anticipated closing date is 3/6/13. The anticipated performance period is 120 days ARO. Quality Assurance Provision (QAP) 208 will be included. Offers will be evaluated for technical acceptability and will then be evaluated based on a combination of price and past performance. This solicitation will include provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction. Since a Reverse Auction may be conducted, offerors are encouraged to access the Procurex system and review the Reverse Auction help tutorials at: https://dla.ProcureXinc.com to learn more about how to participate in an auction. The award will be made as a firm, fixed-price contract. FOB at Destination. Inspection and acceptance will be at Destination. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP. Vendors should contact the buyer if they have trouble downloading the solicitation. This is a pre-solicitation notice only. The solicitation details (including the technical requirements) will NOT be available until the official solicitation is posted.
