Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) requires a contractor to provide Custodial Services at Veterans Health Administration (VHA) offices, located in Durham, NC. Solicitation number VA701-13-Q-0074 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561720 (size standard $16.5 million). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-65, effective January 29, 2013. The anticipated contract period is March 1, 2013 through February 28, 2014, with four (4) option years to follow. Quotations shall be received on or before the date and time specified in Block 8 of the SF 1449. Offerors shall submit their quotations electronically via the eCMS VENDOR PORTAL. Only electronic quotations will be accepted.
