Description

The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA-786-13-R-0146 for the following service: Chattanooga National Cemetery 1200 Bailey Avenue Chattanooga, TN 37404 The contractor will remove, clean, raise, realign and reset designated upright headstones/markers and floral vases that are already in place, and renovate designated sections of turf to include border areas. (Border areas include the area from roadways/fence to interment area). The contractor will remove; clean, raise, realign and reset designated upright headstones (6x6's). These 6x6's will have to be remove very carefully as they are level with the terrain and must be raised with care as to minimize damage to the civil war unknown marker. Digging out around the marker will have to be utilized to minimize damage to headstone. *Note: No headstone will be removed from the individual gravesite. Headstone will be placed on gravesite with wood block to support it from touching the ground.
