Description

Reserved for Maine Multiple Award Construction Contract holders only. The contractor shall produce all required design documents and furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, etc. required to renovate and expand the existing facility housing the shipyard fire department. The work includes the addition of a 3,000 square foot Vehicle Bay for additional and more modern fire fighting apparatus, conversion of existing vehicle bay to administrative and supervisory spaces, mechanical systems upgrade and exterior repairs to enhance energy efficiency. Existing storage shed and emergency generator will be demolished with required circuits transferred to an existing generator serving a portion of Building 59. Utility relocation and exterior site work is also included in the scope.
