- Offeror Representatiions and Certifications This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplement with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotes. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC-2005-65. This solicitation is a total small business set aside. The government is seeking to acquire PVC sheet piling that will be installed as part of a wetland restoration project to impound water. Quotes should include the price for 1680 LF of CMI Shoreguard SG-625 (or equivalent) in 20 FT lengths (total area of material 33,600 SF); delivered and off -loaded to the construction site - 256 Guthrie Road, Mumford, NY 14511; no later than May 1, 2013. Equivalent material must be able to impound water up to a maximum depth of 3 feet, unsupported, as well as reduce seepage below ground to acceptable levels to maintain a wetland restoration. The materials shall be in 20 foot lengths and a minimum per sheet width of 30 inches in order to minimize the number of joints to reduce seepage. For structural stability and drive-ability, the material shall have a section modulus of 24.4 cu.in./ft. or greater and an allowable movement (M) of 6500 ft. lb./ft. or greater.
