Description
The AMF JTRS Program Office announces the SANR Industry Days to take place in Huntsville, AL on 19-20 March 2013. Day 1 of the event is an open forum held at Redstone Arsenal, AL for all registered participants to focus on quote mark airworthiness quote mark and other SANR draft Production Requirements Document (PRD)-related topics. Day 2 will be held at an office facility in Huntsville, AL to provide an opportunity for each prospective offeror from Industry to meet in a quote mark closed quote mark one-on-one session with Government and support contractors from the Program Offices and Requirements community. The Draft PRD has already been released to industry and the USG for review and comment, so the Program Office anticipates there will be questions and topics that require further discussion. Therefore the intent of Industry Days is threefold: a. The USG (i.e. PEO Aviation and the Army Aviation Engineering Directorate (AED)) will present an overview of the quote mark Airworthiness Qualification quote mark process and clarify expectations for all parties on the test procedures, test data, and analysis required to substantiate that an NDI product is airworthy. b. To provide Industry an opportunity to meet with the PM AMF, PEO Aviation and AED subject matter experts in an quote mark open forum. quote mark to engage in a question and answer (Q&A) session on the draft PRD. c. To provide Industry an opportunity to meet with the PM AMF, PEO Aviation and AED subject matter experts in a quote mark closed quote mark one-on-one session. An announcement letter and a registration form are attached with this notice. The Registration Form must be filled out and returned per the instructions detailed in the form. Pre-registration is required for all industry attendees. Approved industry participants will be notified via email o/a 28 Feb 2013, along with more detailed coordinating instructions to include maps and visit request information, as applicable. All expenses associated with attendance will be the responsibility of the participant(s). Dress for the event is business casual or UOD.
