Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Eastern Logistics Service Area has a requirement to procure Janitorial Services at the FAA Air Route Traffic Control Center and the Cyber Security Office, Leesburg, Virginia. THIS ACQUISITION IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR COMPETITION AMOUNG SMALL ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGE 8(a) businesses within 100 mile area of the facility. Map Quest will be the only tool used to determine mileage. NAICS CODE IS 561720. The SIR will be available on February 20, 2013. The SIR is being sent to One (1) company who meets the requirements - American Green Inc, Reston, Virginia and any other company who meets the requirements of being within the 100 mile radius and 8(a) Certified. A mandatory Walk-Thru is scheduled for Wednesday, February 27, 2013, only companies who have received a copy of the Solicitation and have contacted the individual listed in the solicitation forty eight (48) hrs. before will be allowed to submit a Proposal. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
