Description
The Fleet Logistics Center, Jacksonville (FLCJ) has procurement for lodging and meals in Cartagena, Colombia. COMUSNAVSO will host an event that requires lodging and meals in support of UNITAS Atlantic and UNITAS Pacific 2013 Exercise Initial Planning Conferences (IPCs). This Expeditionary Logistics and Life Support Services for U.S. Navy and Partner Nation forces operating ashore in Cartagena, Colombia. The primary objective of this contract is to obtain expeditionary Logistic Support for U.S Navy Forces and their designated personnel operating ashore in Colombia during UNITAS LANT and UNITAS PAC IPC conferences in early MAR 2013. The SC shall provide lodging and meals for two groups (separated by one day) of up to approximately 6-10 Partnering Nation (PN) personnel in Cartagena, Colombia attending IPCs for UNITAS LANT and UNITAS PAC. Hotel is required for PN participants during both conferences. The hotel shall be in a safe secure location that is acceptable to United States Department of Defense security assessment. Lodging and meals must be provided within the main facilities with all lodging rooms within close proximity of each other. The hotel shall have a modern professional system of internal and external security to include cameras strategically located to monitor the interior and exterior of the hotel. It is essential that all required services be coordinated with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and available upon arrival of forces/guests unless otherwise specified by COR. The Service Contractor (SC) shall work closely with the assigned COR, in the coordination and scheduling, ensuring effective completion of all services. The SC shall provide all labor, material, personnel, operational and technical support to perform the statement of work for the execution of this exercise. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. The solicitation will be available by FRI, 22 FEB 2013 and contract award no later than 28 FEB 2013.
