Description

This is an annual synopsis of repair basic ordering agreement (BOA) N00104-13-G-A751 with Erie Forge and Steel Inc., Erie PA and serves as the pre-solicitation synopsis for all repair orders issued by NAVSUP WSS for the period 2012 Nov 01 thru 2013 Oct 31 for the evaluation and repair of Navy Propulsion Shafts for all classes of Navy Ships. See attached list of applicable NIINs. Individual orders exceeding $25,000.00 will be synopsized pursuant to FAR subpart 5.3. Orders issued under this BOA and pursuant to this synopsis will be issued pursuant to 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) because the Government does not currently possess the data necessary to compete the items solicited hereunder. Guidance in NAVICP solicitation language identified as LA27LN, Alternative Products Offered, applies to companies expressing an interest in supplying these items.
