Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) is conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 to identify potential Businesses that have the skills, experience, knowledge, and capabilities required to perform the following potential requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811212 for Computer and Office Machine Repair and Maintenance. This is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and does NOT bind the Government in any way. This is a Market Research in the form of a Sources Sought Announcement. Interested parties shall not be reimbursed for costs associated with preparation of their responses to this synopsis. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, and facilities necessary to perform maintenance and repair services of the following items: 1) OPSCAN 21 OMR (Model: 21/100; Serial Number: 2100457), 2) Maintenance of Upgraded Read Heads (Serial Number: IDM000621), 3) Maintenance of Transport Printer (Serial Number: IDM001428) / 200CPS/80 COL PTR (Serial Number IDM001439), and 4) Software maintenance/upgrades of Scan Tools Plus on OPSCAN 21 OMR scanner. Maintenance is required a minimum of three (3) times per year with on-call/on-site availability for all items listed above. Maintenance of equipment and software is to take place at Army Research Institute (ARI) located at Fort Belvoir, VA 22060. Period of Performance for the on-site maintenance shall start at contract award and last a period of one year. Interested parties shall submit via electronic mail (e-mail) a capability statement not to exceed two pages, to include Business Size, DUNS, CAGE code, and any supporting licensing certification(s) to work on the aforementioned software and hardware items. All documentation shall be submitted to Contract Specialist, Alicia Toth at alicia.c.toth.civ@mail.mil. The subject line of the email shall read quote mark W15QKN-13-T-0033 Sources Sought - Company Name quote mark. DEADLINE: Responses are required NO LATER THAN Tuesday, 26 February 2013 at 3:00 PM EST.
