- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas is performing market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, hub zone, 8(a), small disadvantage business, woman-owned, small business, or large business) relative to NACIS 339112 (size standard 500 employees) that can provide medical supplies for these Catheter are used for ablation in patients with atrial flutter. These Catheters provide a closed irrigation system for the ablation procedure as listed herein: 0001 Blazer II HTD 4mm Standard Curve 40 EA 0002 Blazer II HTD 5mm Large Curve 30 EA 0003 Blazer XP 8mm Large Curve 30 EA 0004 Chilli Large Curve 20 EA 0005 Polaris 2.5-5-2.5 spacing 70 EA 0006 Blazer DX20 2-8-2 ans 2-10-2 spacing 40 EA Interested companies should submit an email to kieu.dinh@va.gov. Firms should provide their business size status in accordance with the small business administration website (www.sba.gov) for the above referenced NAICS code they fall within (i.e. small businesses, 8(a) firms, HUBZones, small disabled veteran owned businesses, etc.). All responses must be received in writing no later than 4:00 PM CST on February 26, 2013. Fax or telephone responses will not be accepted. This notice is to help the VA medical center in determining potential sources only. No solicitation is currently available. All firms responding to this request for information notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for a contract award or to be added to prospective bidders list to receive a copy of the solicitation.
