- Contractor's Information Sheet Application for participation in 2013 Small / Large Business Match Making Event The 42d Contracting Squadron Invites You to Participate in a Large / Small Business Matchmaking Event WHO: A minimum of 20 but not more than 30 various large business prime contractors and at least 50 various small business contractors. WHAT: A Matchmaking Event for large business prime contractors to meet one-on-one with small business contractors to provide them with an opportunity to discuss their capabilities, mutual interest, and gather information on what it takes to become a potential subcontractor or partner. Depending on the number of participants, there will be a series of pre-arranged 10- minute appointments for small business contractors to meet with large business contractors from various industries. WHEN: Wednesday, April 10, 2013 8:00 a.m. - 12 Noon WHERE: Maxwell Club 375 West Drive, Bldg 144 Maxwell AFB, AL 36113 WHY: To increase business contacts between large business prime contractors and small business contractors, to identify potential teaming partners and mentor-protégé opportunities, and for best practices and trends to be shared. If you are interested in participating in this event, please complete the attached application package and send it to: 42CONS/CCB, ATTN: LARGE PRIME / SMALL BUSINESS MATCHMAKING EVENT, 50 LEMAY PLAZA SOUTH, BLDG 804, MAXWELL AFB, AL 36112 or via e-mail to marsha.goodman@us.af.mil. Additional instructions are attached to this notice. Applications will be reviewed and selections will be made to ensure representation from various large and small businesses with capabilities that are properly matched for each appointment. You will be notified of your selection or non-selection by March 22, 2013. Participant selection decisions are at the sole discretion of the Small Business Office and are final. Application packages must be received in 42 CONS/CCB by 4:00 pm CDT on Tuesday, 19 Mar 2013. There is NO fee for this event.
