- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to award a Sole Source contract to TSI, INC. located in Saint Paul Minnesota to furnish the following: MicroPIV System Quantity: 1 Each Includes: Powerview Plus 4MP Camera System Powerview Plus 4MP, 2K x 2K pixel resolution, High Quantum Efficiency, low noise Digital CCD Camera, 12 bit output, 16 frames/sec, CCD circuitry protective mask, 28mm/F2.8 camera lens (F-mount), all interface cables and 64-bit camera-link digital camera interface card PIV Laser 2 X 20mJ 15 Hz YAG ND: YAG PIV Laser with dual cavities, 70mJ (x2) 532 NM wavelength Mount Quantel Evergreen laser (1 pair) 1.5" Optics Attenuator Light Guide AY 5mm 2m 1.5" optics Synchronizer for Global Imaging Systems, T7500 Dell Workstation with 48GB of RAM Dual Intel Xeon X3430 Quad Cor 2.40ghz processor, 48GB DDR3 RAM, 1TB hard disk drive, 22" monitor, windows 7 64-bit enterprise edition operating system. Insight4G image capture, Analysis and display software Module4G-2DPIV software module to provide processing PIV image capture analysis and display fluid mechanics start up service, on-site installation and training by Application Engineer. FM Special - Fluid Mechanics specials template. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334513 with the size standard of 500 employees. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR) Part 13 and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of quotes or offers received in response to this notice. Vendors who feel that they can provide the above requirement may submit a quotation and technical capabilities, which if received within fifteen (15) calendar days of publication if this notices, shall be considered by NRL. All responses must be submitted to the Government point of contact at the email address shown below. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
