- Description
- The 911th Airlift Wing, Coraopolis, PA., 15108 intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP), using the Best Value source selection procedure, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) techniques to make a single award. This is a firm fixed-price contract to provide for all labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to Replace Sanitary Sewer Lines, Base Wide, Phase I, Project No. JLSS 10-7028. Work includes but not limited to replacement of mains and laterals of vitrified clay and terra cotta pipe with PVC pipe, inspect sewer lines with camera, remove and replace brick manholes with pre-cast concrete. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with the contract documents. The estimated cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS code is 237110. The applicable size standard is $33.5 million. Request for Proposal FA6712-13-R-0004 will be available o/a 1 March 2013. Proposal closing date will be o/a 2 April 2013. This action is being set-aside for competition restricted to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms IAW FAR Subpart 19.14 and 52.219-27. Tentative proposal closing date will be 30 days after issuance. Performance period is 210 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available to make payments under a contract. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after closing with no obligation to the offeror by the government. Note: Interested offerors must have an active record in the System for Award Management (SAM) site at http://www.sam.gov. Offerors must also be qualified, verified and listed at www.vetbiz.gov for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business at the time of the proposal closing date. The solicitation and associated plans and specifications will be available from the FBO website o/a 1 March 2013.
