Description
The US Forest Service, Santa Fe National Forest intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for purchasing 210 Boxes of aerial ignition spheres (1000 spheres per box). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and is a total small business set-aside. The announcement number is AG-8379-S-13-0007. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 115310 with a size standard of $7.0M. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The requirement consists of the following items: Purchase 210 Boxes (1000 spheres per box) of Aerial Ignition Spheres for prescribed burning. AERIAL IGNITION SPHERES: Aerial Ignition spheres must be 1.25 inches (32mm) in diameter and be made of high impact polystyrene plastic containing approximately 3 grams of high grade crystalline potassium permanganate. The plastic spheres must be manufactured to standards that allow them to function flawlessly during feeding, injection and expulsion safely and reliably in an unmodified Mark III Premo aerial ignition sphere dispenser. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-34. AGAR 452.209 - 70 Representation by Corporations Regarding an Unpaid Delinquent Tax Liability or a Felony Conviction. (DEVIATION 2012-01) Alternate 1 (Feb 2012). (a) Awards made under this solicitation are subject to the provisions contained in the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2012 (P.L. No. 112-74), Division E, Sections 433 and 434 regarding corporate felony convictions and corporate federal tax delinquencies. To comply with these provisions, all offerors must complete paragraph (1) of this representation, and all corporate offerors also must complete paragraphs (2) and (3) of this representation.
