Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, BECKLEY, WV has a need for Mobile Lithotripsy Services, Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) equipment and related technical support at the VA Medical Center, BECKLEY, WV, for eligible veteran and beneficiaries of the VA Medical Center, BECKLEY, WV. The contractor must possess an unrestricted license in a US state, territory or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia. Contractor personnel must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English Language and be a US citizen. All lithotripsy specialists referred by the Contractor to perform the services provided by this contract shall be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. The VA uses the Medicare allowable reimbursement rate as a benchmark. It is the VA intention to negotiate and award on a competitive basis. Estimated number of patients per month will vary depending upon need. The exact number of patients to be referred per procedure cannot be determined. The NAICS code for this requirement is 621512. Size standard is $14.0M. This is a sources sought notice only. No formal solicitation document exists at this time.
