Description
1.What is the typical office consistency (number of desks, bookshelves, chairs, type of furniture modular or free standing furniture, cabinets etc)? A.Del Din will have most furniture already installed. Therefore, offices moving from Caserma Ederle/Longare to Del Din will only be moving electronic equipment (ie. computers, printers, scanners, shredders, televisions, projectors, refrigerators, microwave), document files, artwork/picture frames, personal desk items, etc. B.However, offices moving from Longare to Caserme Ederle as well as moves from one building to another on Caserma Ederle will have furniture moving as well as the items mentioned above. Mostly desks and file cabinets. Everyone has a computer but all other quantities varies from office to office. 2.Is furniture to be disassembled and re-assembled by the Government or the Contractor? A. If needed, the furniture will be disassembled and re-assembled by the Contractor. 3.Are personal items to be relocated by the Contractor or the individual owner? A.The owner can choose to have the Contractor move their personal items. However, they will be limited to two boxes. 4.Who furnishes the boxes for the personal items? A.The Contractor will need to provide boxes for personal items, documents/files, and Secret items (Secret items will be moved by the owner but, a box will be needed) 5.Are electronic items (PCs, projectors etc) to be transported? A.Yes, all property book electronic items will need to be packed up and moved by the Contractor. 6.Are all office relocations on ground floor or various floors and if various floors are lifts available for use or must stairs be used? A.Offices in Longare have only two floors. Most buildings in Caserma Ederle have two floors except one building with five floors and there is no lift in that building. Most offices moving to Del Din will be going to a building with four floors and there is a lift that can be used.
