- USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service is announcing a project under the Emergency Watershed Protection Program for Bastrop County, Texas. There are 25 sites along County Roads. The project consist of constructing timber headwalls; placing rock riprap armoring and sand-cement bag riprap along the edges of County roads to protect the road banks and surface from erosion during overtopping events.
