Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Department of Veterans Affairs Northern California Health Care System intends to negotiate and award a sole source, short term, firm fixed price contract to a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Hughes Group LLC, under the authority of FAR 6.302-5 and VAAR 819.7007. The requirement is for janitorial services under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 561720. The related small business size standard is $16.5M. The proposed performance period is not to exceed six months. Anticipated award date is April 1, 2012. Sole source justification has been prepared and approved in support of this acquisition. No contracts will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No telephone questions will be accepted.
