- This is a pre-solicitation notice for Buckley AFB, CO. The Air Force intends to make an award on a competitive basis for Dry Ice Delivery services to Buckley AFB 460th Medical Clinic. The required services are commercial in nature, therefore, FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items shall apply to this acquisition. The contractor shall deliver 100 pounds of dry ice to the 460 Medical Group Clinic, Laboratory Flight weekly. The deliveries will consist of 50 pounds being dropped off prior to 1200 pm every Monday and Wednesday. The period of performance will be 7 Apr 2013 through 6 Apr 2014 with 4 option years. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 424690 with a small business size standard of 100 employees. The solicitation will be available on or about 1 Mar 2013. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) web site http://www.fbo.gov/. This requirement will be accessible to those companies deemed eligible by the information they provided when they register with the the System For Award Management (SAM) website at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. The Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including any amendments and other general information, will also be distributed solely through this site. All interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have up-to-date information about this acquisition and are encouraged to monitor and register their company on the Interested Vendor List (IVL) and Register to Receive Notifications. The Contractor shall propose on all items to be considered responsive.
