- Solicitation Number: W909MY-13-R-A003Notice Type: Presolicitation Synopsis: This is a synopsis of proposed contract action W909MY-13-R-A003. This is not a solicitation or invitation for offerors to submit proposals or questions. The Department of the Army, Army Contracting Command, APG - Fort Belvoir intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to provide broad-based research and analytic support to support the US Army CECOM ESA Directorate's Army G-4 that will provide a sound basis for current requirements and future concepts for conducting Army logistics within an ever-changing environment (e.g. linking research to practical application, determining logistics capabilities, and attaining the most effective mix in public/private solutions). The support shall include technical, operational, security, administrative support and subject matter expertise (SME) as required to support the G-4 mission requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541990 with a small business size standard of $14M. This requirement is set aside exclusively Small Business participation only in accordance with FAR Subpart 19.5 - Set- Asides for Small Business. The contract will be awarded on a Firm-Fixed-Price basis with a cost type travel contract line item number. A single award will be made with a period of performance consisting of one (1) 12-month base period with one (1) 12-month option periods. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is on or about 30 March 2013 to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Web Site, which posts at http://www.fbo.gov. The closing date, time, and location for receipt of proposals will be reflected in the solicitation. The distribution of the solicitation and associated updates, notices and amendments will be accomplished solely through the FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation documents will not be available. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation.
