- THIS IS A SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY Shriver Job Corps Center is seeking quotes for purchasing and installation of various candle watt power horns and strobes for dormitories and the recreation building to provide notification for the hearing/visually impaired. All new devices must be connected to the building's existing fire alarm system. Must be a licensed fire alarm installer. This is a prevailing wage rate job. There will be a pre-bid meeting on March 13, 2013 at 9:00 am. At this time, the Scope of Work will be reviewed and all questons will be answered. Following the meeting, there will be a tour of the project site. The meeting will be held at Shriver Job Corps Center, 270 Jackson Road, Devens, MA 01434. It is required that you attend this pre-bid meeting in order for your quote/bid to be considered. Please contact the Purchasing Agent by March 8, 2013 to notify us that you will be attending. The subcontract award will be based on the written communication of criteria to include: a) Quality of proposal as it relates to the stated requirements, b) Contractor experience including relevant past performance for similar work, c) Contractor expertise, d) Price and relevant documentation of same based on procurement type.
