Description

SF 30 Solicitation N00421-13-T-0207 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation (RFQ). The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Mayer Electric Corporation, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. The facility's existing bus duct system is manufactured by Eaton Corporation and is proprietary to Eaton Corporation. The requested material is required as additional pieces to upgrade the existing system, and the design for the requested material required to complete the upgrade is proprietary to Mayer Electric Corporation. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov See RFQ attached Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 06-March-2013 by 8:00 am EST will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Please quote all or none.
