- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY This announcement constitutes a request for information (RFI). Solicitations are not available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) is seeking potential vendors from GSA Federal Supply Schedules for IT Research and Advisory Support Services. The Contract period is expected to be a Base Year + four (4) Option Years. The IT Research and Advisory Support Services will include, but not be limited to, the following: 1. Commercially available on-line research database with access to annually conducted research, role-specific searchable research and access to on-line research database that provides insight into current and evolving IT trends; 2. Analysts Inquiries Support with access to a pool of Analyst Experts to answer unlimited questions and provide insight on relevant topics; 3. Executive Services offered through a variety of venues (face to face meeting, conference call, online database, WebEx, etc.); 4. Peer Networking which includes access to knowledge and expertise of clients/peers in both the government and industry, access to the expertise, advice and reports of others who have successfully completed comparable efforts; 5. Events, Conferences and IT Expos which include subject matter information sessions led by analysts, current and future looking technology showcases, peer exchange workshops, consulting diagnostic workshops and keynotes by technology's top leaders. All responsible GSA vendors are invited to submit a response regarding a description of their capabilities, experience, and size standard. Vendor responses should identify a point-of-contact including the representative's name, company, email address, mailing address and telephone number both in an email and within the body of the submitted document. The total response to the RFI should be limited to ten (10) pages, including any brochure documents. Question regarding this RFI are due via electronic submission no later than Monday, March 4, 2013, 4:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time to Sandra.K.Souders@noaa.gov. No telephone calls will be accepted. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Any information provided in response to the RFI will be used for informational and planning purposes only and will not be returned. All proprietary information should be clearly marked as such. All information submitted by respondents to this RFI, including appropriately marked proprietary information, will be safeguarded and protected from unauthorized disclosure. Note: Vendors need not respond to this RFI as a prerequisite for participating in a future acquisition.
